For Shame!

Who knew that keeping up on a blog would be so difficult! I truly think about it all of the time, but never seem to actually do it. So, here I am trying this out again.... I make no promises, but I'm going to try. Keyword, try. I don't feel as bad because sometimes life just happens and you get busy (story of my life). Also, one of my favorite bloggers has also been busy and not blogged in a really long time and at first I was irritated with her (duh, tryin' to read over here) but now I understand, and I feel as though her actions validate me. I feel validated by writing that run on sentence.

I need to do a post on my vacation, however it's painful to bring up because that gloriousness (def. made that up) ended nearly 3 months ago and it hurts me. So you may or may not get to see that ;)

ANYWAYS.

I am starting my Christmas baking for some gifts today, because I like to pretend I am a homemaker and I really am an old lady at heart. I am making....

Jelly? (Yes, I just said that, and you secretly liked it)

Ps. I will not be making that biscochito recipe because I have one from my mother, and I like mine better (Ok, I haven't tried this recipe, but I assume mine is better), and mine will only be diamond shaped. I used this pin mostly for picture purposes, and really, this pic doesn't do these cookies justice. In New Mexico they are a Christmas staple, at least at my house they were. And for real, are one of the most delicious cookies ever. Ever. And it hurts my feelings that you don't understand, so give me your address and I'll send you some.
Pss. Whoa, holy rant.
Pss. You are allowed to follow me on Pinterest, but I don't pin that often, and may or may not follow you. Ha

LOL...Have a good time baking. Trial and Error is the only way to learn to cook, I think. It allows you to take a recipe that you are used to from mom and make it your own depending on what you have always thought needed to be added to it.
